Reese Gallagher joined Statehouse Impact Group in September 2024, after serving as a Senior Legislative Aide and Legislative Aide in the Ohio Senate to Senator Bob Hackett, Chair of the Senate Insurance Committee. Prior to becoming an aide, Reese was a Legislative Service Commission (LSC) fellow in the Ohio Senate. While an LSC fellow, Reese served in the offices of Senators Hackett, S. Huffman, Lang, Romanchuk, Hoagland, Schuring, and Gavarone. This experience exposed Reese to a wide variety of policy backgrounds and allowed her to build a robust network of legislative members, staff, and other professionals around Capitol Square.

Prior to joining the Ohio Senate, Reese interned with Governor Mike DeWine’s office and Governmental Policy Group, where she primarily worked on healthcare issues. These experiences deepened her understanding of policy development, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder engagement in the industry. She gained valuable insights into health policy and honed her skills in legislative analysis while also building a strong network with key healthcare stakeholders.

Reese received an honors bachelor’s degree in the Philosophy, Politics, and the Public Program from Xavier University in 2021. She enjoys traveling to new places, engaging in outdoor activities, and spending quality time with family and friends. Originally from Connecticut, she currently resides in Dublin, Ohio.
